The masks contain nourishing ingredients such as amino acids, apricot kernel oil, and the regenerating ArganID™ technology for healthier-looking hair. The packaging of the Color Depositing Masks is made from 50% recycled material, helping to reduce our carbon footprint by using less energy.

APPLICATION
Before applying the mask to your entire head, we recommend first conducting a strand test to determine the intensity and color direction. Start by selecting a small strand of hair—ideally one that is largely hidden during normal styling. Section off this strand and clip the rest aside. Apply the desired Color Depositing Mask to the sectioned strand and leave it on for 2–3 minutes. Then rinse. If the color is too subtle, try a second strand and leave it on for a longer time.
1. Start with clean, towel-dried hair.
2. Part your hair, apply a generous amount and distribute evenly with a wide-tooth comb.
3. Leave on for 5–7 minutes, depending on the desired intensity.
4. Rinse thoroughly and style as usual.
Tip: To achieve a pastel effect or to soften the color result, mix ¼ part of the desired Color Depositing Mask with ¾ parts of Moroccanoil® Light Moisturizing Mask.
Note: Color Depositing Masks add temporary color to the hair, which gradually fades over time. The lighter the hair, the more vibrant and long-lasting the color. Color results and longevity also depend on hair porosity. Visit a Moroccanoil salon and consult your stylist if you would like to speed up the fading process.

Wie frische ich meine Haarfarbe zu Hause auf, ohne neu zu färben?
Mit einer tönenden Maske, die Farbe nur temporär auflegt und dabei pflegt. Die Moroccanoil Color Depositing Mask gibt es in mehreren Farbtönen und in einer klaren Variante, die Farbe verblasst nach und nach wieder. Für die Abdeckung von grauem Haar ist sie ausdrücklich nicht gedacht.
Wie lange muss die Farbmaske einwirken?
Mach zuerst einen Test an einer verdeckten Strähne, um Intensität und Farbrichtung einzuschätzen. Danach ins saubere, handtuchtrockene Haar auftragen, mit einem breitzahnigen Kamm verteilen und je nach gewünschter Tiefe fünf bis sieben Minuten einwirken lassen. Anschließend gründlich ausspülen und wie gewohnt stylen.
Wie stark wird das Ergebnis bei dunklem Haar?
Das hängt von Ausgangston und Porosität des Haares ab. Je heller das Haar, desto lebendiger und länger sichtbar ist der Ton, auf dunklem Haar bleibt der Effekt dezenter. Einzelne Farbtöne sind wiederum nicht für blondes oder gebleichtes Haar vorgesehen, deshalb lohnt der Blick auf die jeweilige Nuance.
Was ist der Unterschied zu einer normalen Pflegemaske?
Eine reine Pflegemaske arbeitet nur an Feuchtigkeit und Geschmeidigkeit. Die Color Depositing Mask pflegt ebenfalls, legt zusätzlich aber temporär Farbe auf. Wer ein sanfteres Ergebnis möchte, mischt einen Teil der Farbmaske mit drei Teilen der leichten Feuchtigkeitsmaske.
Was mache ich davor und danach?
Wasche wie gewohnt und lass an dem Tag den Conditioner weg, damit die Farbe gleichmäßiger aufliegt. Nach dem Ausspülen kommt ins feuchte Haar ein Leave-in oder ein Öl. Soll die Farbe schneller wieder raus, ist der Friseur die richtige Adresse.
Welche Größe soll ich zum Ausprobieren nehmen?
Die kleine Größe ist gedacht, um einen Farbton kennenzulernen, die große für den regelmäßigen Einsatz. Weil pro Anwendung eine großzügige Menge nötig ist, reicht die kleine meist nur für einen Versuch. Willst du eine Farbe dauerhaft auffrischen, greifst du gleich zur großen.
